I am a multidisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from both literature and science. I use different techniques such as engraving, acrylic, oil and collage depending on the theme and suggestion of the moment. Blue, a symbol of calm, depth, sensitivity and mystery is my favourite colour and I often contrast it with yellow, the colour of hope and energy.

I observe contemporary society from different points of view; starting from the origins of my family in Pienza, the "Ideal City" of the Renaissance and based on my studies for my profession as a biologist, I reflect on the concept of "City" as the centre of social evolution and I represent the fragility of life in urban contexts, highlighting the environmental problems caused by climate change and  I represent symbolically the complexity of human relationships through the intertwining of neuronal synapses.

My works evoke wonder and curiosity and invite the observer to travel with the imagination in a surreal and metaphysical world of infinite possibilities and lead to a reflection on the precariousness of the human condition in today's society, mitigated, however, by a feeling of hope, following the words of Italo Calvino:

-Take life lightly, that lightness is not superficiality, but gliding over things from above, not having boulders on your heart -
